Frequently Asked Questions
Where will I sleep?
Our Pioneers, Explorers and Voyageurs all sleep in lodges within our main quad of Camp. Our Adventurer campers sleep in canvas tents and accommodation in our onsite forest. Each cabin will have a room to sleep in which has bunkbeds and enough space to store any luggage you bring. Your Counsellors sleep in a room joining on to yours so they are close if you ever need anything.
How will I choose my activities?
During the day there are two Interest Groups where you can choose what activities you would like to do. On your first day at Camp you will have time to sign up for these activities. If you want to find out more have a look at the video below.

What happens if my camper misses’ home?
Missing home when you are at camp is natural for many of our campers especially if it is their first time away from home. All of our staff are here to ensure that your camper has the best time while they are at camp and will help them in anyway they can, when they are missing home. Something that can help is our Camper Mail service, parents can send an email to their camper, which we print off and hand out once a day. They can not write back to you but it is a nice way to keep them up to date with what is happening at home. You can find out more in the Parents Booklet Below.
What is your camper to counsellor ratio?
All of our cabins have 8 campers and 2 counsellors, this means there is a 1:4 ratio. Our Counsellors sleep in separate rooms to our campers but are always close in case they need anything.
What does the food look like at Camp Warwa?
Here at Camp Warwa we take a lot of care when preparing our menu to ensure that our campers have the energy to have fun everyday at camp. All of our meals are served family style in our dining hall with an afternoon snack being served in the field. Each cabin also gets to have a meal over the fire while they are at Camp. We are a Nut-Aware camp and do our best to accommodate the dietary needs of our campers and take special care when preparing our food to ensure there is no cross-contamination.
