Our Day Camps run five days, Monday to Friday and will be offered every week of the summer. Day Camps are fully part of our traditional summer camp program and participate in the majority of the same programs as our overnight campers.
The program is open to boys and girls in grades K - 4. The program starts at camp at 9am each day and concludes at 4:00pm most days. Daily bus service to and from Edmonton is available departing at 8:00am and returning at 5:15pm.
Note that the program runs later on Friday to line up with our end of week camp celebrations with pick up at camp at 6:15pm and pick up at bus location in Edmonton for 7:30pm.
Campers will get to choose many of the programs they participate in including: archery, rock climbing, canoeing, crafts, drama, circus tricks, nature awareness and more!
In addition to attending programs of their choice, campers will also be sorted into groups based on their age for other traditional camp programs. They will take part in all camp activities such as Wild Wednesday and Stones, and also be welcomed into a Society. The Day Camp program is an ideal first time camp experience that allows campers to build confidence in a supportive community setting.
Day campers bring their own bagged lunch each day and an afternoon snack is provided by camp. Supper is also provided to Day Campers on Friday. Campers will also recieve a free Camp Warwa T-shirt on their first day at camp.
The Day Camp program is available Monday - Friday, each week of the summer. Campers sign up for the full week and no single day camps are available.
