Welcome to Camp Warwa's Summer Camp!

A 23-acre paradise located on Lac Ste. Anne 80 km west of Edmonton sets the stage each week for personal challenge and development. Since 1986 Camp Warwa has been introducing children 7-16 years to the adventure that a summer camp experience has to offer.

At Camp Warwa we strive to make every camper's experience an unforgettable one. Every camper can be confident that they will be treated with respect through the belief that every camper is a unique and capable individual in their search of challenge and self-awareness.

Our Program - Blending Group Choices and Individual Choices

Our flexible program is designed to accommodate the skill level and interest of each camper. Each child is treated as unique, important and capable, and provided with every opportunity to succeed. We make it our business to instil the confidence in each camper to achieve his or her own personal goals.

Campers are divided into age specific sections; Pioneers, Explorers, Voyageurs, Adventurers, Anake, and Counsellors-in-Training. During the first day of camp each group will plan out their week. Their counsellors ensure that the group has a well-balanced program and that each camper contributes equally in the decision making process. Each group may use any of the program areas, or create programs of their very own. Included in these balanced programs are all camp activities such as campfires, skit nights, campwide games, and theme days.
